Visual Art & Poetry Honouring Our Returned Service Personnel

Art Studios Co-operative invites FAW members and their guests to the Australian Spirit Touring Exhibition.
The Australian Spirit project has spanned over four years with 2018 being its concluding year. The project is a community collaboration, between Returned Service Personnel, artist, poets and photographers. Resulting in a compelling exhibition of poetry and visual arts inspired by the veterans stories and memories. The project was initiated to raise awareness of the sacrifices made by veterans and their families both during and after their services.
Art Studios Co-operative have successfully ran this project on the NSW Central Coast for the past 4 years and have achieved some great outcomes, including highlighting the talented creatives in our community and the value of the arts in our society.
Given past successes the organisers are endeavouring to inspire creatives in other regions to take on a similar initiative, sharing the concept.
