The Jugiong Writers Festival is excited to, once again, announce its Short Story and Poetry competitions and invite you to submit your entries.
Total prize money has increased to $2,000 thanks to the Bragg and Robb families in loving memory of Catherine Bragg.
The theme for the 2023 Competition is ‘Moments on the Murrumbidgee’.
There are sections for Primary and Secondary students as well as Adults (Local and Open) and one overall champion prize in both poetry and short story.
All winners will be announced via Internet and social media after the closing date.
Some of the conditions are as follows:
- All entries must be the author’s original and unpublished work.
- One entry per person per section.
- All entries must be submitted via the website address below.
- Short Story not to be more than 1,000 words.
- Poetry not to be more than 500 words.
