FAW Centenary Book Progress Update

 

Snapshot so far – September 2026:

• The Centenary Book Project is running to schedule as per the timeline
• We have received many interesting branch submissions, photos and articles
• Material received is logged, collated and uploaded to Dropbox, for retrieval when editing
• A dedicated FAW Centenary Book Project Page has been created and includes relevant links to the centenary book timeline, branch history submission guidelines and online forms
• Our aim is to produce a book ’that is an engaging and comprehensive record of the growth and progression of the FAW.’

An Additional Items Submission Form has been created for branches, for use when logging additional information to your branch histories:

• Designed for branches to submit further material for the centenary book, the form will be available until the FINAL deadline for branch submission updates
• The FINAL deadline for branch submission updates is 1st March 2028
• Use the form via the above link to submit your material to the Centenary Committee.

Centenary Committee:

• The committee will continue to receive and edit branch history additional submissions and articles, until the final deadline on 1st March 2028.
• Permission to publish forms (photos/written submissions) will be sent to branches for approval and permission to publish
