The Boroondara Literary Awards are a joint partnership between the Rotary Club of Balwyn and the City of Boroondara, Victoria. Now in their 21st year, the Awards aim to encourage creative writing in schools and the general community.
The Open Short Story category is open to all residents of Australia.
Word count: 1,500 to 3,000 words.
First prize $1,500; Second $1,000; Third $500.
