FAW NSW Walter Stone Award 2016 for Life Writing

Closing date for entries: 30th September 2016

The Award is for a Life Writing defined as a work of biography, autobiography, memoir, monograph, bibliography.

Biography and autobiography may be an extract to meet the word count requirements which is a minimum of 10,000 and a maximum of 25,000.

Dependent upon the number of entries received, five authors will be short listed for this year’s Walter Stone Award for Life Writing.

The short listed authors together with a guest, will be invited to attend this year’s Sydney Awards Presentation lunch (details later in the year) where they will receive recognition for their work.

The winner of the FAW NSW Walter Stone 2016 Award for Life Writing will be revealed at the lunch, receiving $1,500 in prize money.
