ZineWest publishes the previously unpublished work of Western Sydney writers—both poetry and prose—in an annual, multi-genre, print zine.

Entry is free to new writers, 16 years and over, who live, work or study in Western Sydney or attend a Western Sydney cultural organisation.

First Prize: $400. 2nd & 3rd Prize: Giramondo titles. Prizes are co-sponsored by the Writing and Society Research Centre, WSU, and around thirty pieces are included in the print zine.

The October launch is held at UNE Parramatta.
