Writers Unleashed Festival

14 November 2015

The Writer’s Unleashed festival, in the Sutherland Shire in Sydney, is on again this year. The festival is run by members of the Sutherland Shire FAW and is now in its seventh year.

The date is Saturday the 14th of November and it is a fully catered event, held at Tradies in Gymea. With author talks, a bookshop, publishing consultations for children’s writers and adult writers there is much variety with also networking opportunities.

Authors this year include children’s authors: Jacqueline Harvey, Belinda Murrell, Nadia Wheatley and Andrew Cranna, plus YA author Wanda Wiltshire. Adult authors include: Ber Carroll, Pamela Cook and Emily Maguire with many more fabulous writers. There will be an Indi panel and editor’s panel. An evening book launch, for Sulari Gentill’s latest novel in her Rowland Sinclair Mystery Series, Give the Devil His Due, will also be on.

Tickets are now on sale from the Festival website: www.shirewritersfestival.weebly.com.

Prices are $90 for the day session, $110 for an editor consultation and $50 for the evening session (which also includes Sulari’s latest novel). There still are available consultations for all editors.
