Seniors Stories Volume 11 Launch

NSW Seniors Card, in association with the Fellowship of Australian Writers NSW, conducts an annual Short Story writing competition for holders of a Seniors Card or Senior Savers Card. The best 100 stories, as selected by a panel of judges, are published in a book and distributed to the authors, as well as to libraries across the state.

This year, Volume 11 was launched at the State Library of New South Wales in Sydney, on Monday 10th November 2025. Hosted by The Hon. Jodie Harrison MP,  Minister for Seniors, the event was attended by the successful authors and their partners. Featured speakers included Hugh Riminton as MC, FAW State President Colleen Parker, Maria Issaris of Audiobooks and Entertainer Jim Haynes OAM.
