Entries are sought in the following categories:
| SECTION 1: Years 11 & 12 | (max lines 60) | Prize $125 |
| SECTION 2: Years 9 & 10 | (max lines 50) | Prize $100 |
| SECTION 3: Years 7 & 8 | (max lines 40) | Prize $ 90 |
| SECTION 4: Years 5 & 6 | (max lines 40) | Prize $ 70 |
| SECTION 5: Years 3 & 4 | (max lines 30) | Prize $50 |
| SECTION 6: Years 1 & 2 | (max lines 20) | Prize $30 |
Entrant’s name must appear on the entry form ONLY.
The entry fee is $5.00.
All entries and payments should be done via the submission form on this website, with the poem attached where indicated as a word document.
Should an online submission not be available, students may request an entry form and payment details from .
Entries must be student’s own work, unpublished and not having won any competition at time of entry.

Closing date for the competition is 6pm Monday 31st August 2026.
Winners will be notified prior to 31st October 2026.
