Deepa Ranjit of Casevac says, “As board member of a new non-profit initiative for emerging writers, I’m seeking organisations who may be willing to help us promote our first contest.
This pilot contest is a build-up to a functioning quarterly competition that is run by writers for writers, the main difference being that the winners of each round form the adjudication panel for the next and receive modest bursaries.
The contest itself is highly accessible, being open to writers of all approaches and requiring only a marginal admin fee (which is waived for entrants in disadvantaged areas or circumstances).”
