This year’s theme for both the Short Story and the Poetry Competition is ‘Bringing in the light’

Short Story Competition
Up to 1,000 words. Categories:

SCHOOL CHILDREN:
Primary – Kindergarten to Year 2 and Years 3 to 6
Secondary – Years 7 to 9 and Years 10 to 12

ADULT:
Local Area Residents and Open.

CHAMPION:
Short Story chosen from the above 6 categories.

Catherine Bragg Poetry Competition
The Catherine Bragg Poetry Award is given in loving memory and recognition of a very valued member of the Jugiong Writers’ Festival Committee and a special light in so many lives. Catherine Bragg saw life and nature through the eyes and soul of a true poet. Her unique body of work spanned her lifetime and will be an inspiration to all those who read it.

Maximum 500 words. Categories:

SCHOOL CHILDREN:
Primary –Years 3 to 6
Secondary – Years 7 to 9 and Years 10 to 12

ADULT:
Local Area Residents and Open.

CHAMPION:
Poem chosen from the above categories.
