Hunter Writers Centre presents the 2022 Newcastle Short Story Award.
Open to all Australian citizens or permanent residents aged over 18 years.
Word limit 2000 maximum (including titles and any sub-headings). There is no minimum word limit.
There is no theme. You are welcome to write on any subject.
Entry is online only. Attach .pdf or Word document (.doc) with the file name as the story title.
Entrants are welcome to submit more than one story. There is no limit to your number of entries. A separate entry form and separate entry fee of $16.50 (incl. GST) must accompany each entry.
Prizes:
1st Prize $2000; 2nd Prize $1000; 3rd Prize $700.
